UX DESIGN AT PIAZZA

Summary

Piazza is an online Q&A platform for classes. I interned at Piazza as a UX designer full-time for two summers and part-time during the school year.

I spent most of my time at Piazza gathering user feedback to improve the service. In addition to managing feature updates and bug fixes, I also updated Piazza's web login flow and created new support pages and help videos for new users.

I worked closely with front-end engineers to iterate on the web platform and implement feature improvements and bug fixes. With these fixes we estimate that we were able to reduce our daily influx of support tickets by about one-third.
